Everyone at our centre knows their role—and how to work together to support children and families.
A Simple, Effective Structure
We keep our organisational structure clear so everyone knows who to go to for help, support, or guidance. Educators report to their Room Leaders, who are supported by the Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader. This structure means there’s always someone available to offer guidance—especially when children need tailored support.
Building Team Strength
We support our team through mentoring, coaching, and regular role-based training. Room Leaders are coached weekly and educators receive real-time feedback to improve practice. For example, when a new educator was unsure how to guide group behaviour, the Educational Leader demonstrated a group time, debriefed with the educator, and then supported them to lead with confidence.
Continuous Reflection and Growth
We recently reviewed our leadership support model and expanded the Educational Leader’s role to full-time. This change came from feedback that educators needed more support for documentation and planning. Now, educators receive regular check-ins and personalised guidance, especially when managing transitions, behaviours, or special needs.
Helping Families Understand Who’s Who
Families are guided to the right people when support is needed. Whether your child is biting, having sleep challenges, or transitioning to school, we explain who is leading the support plan. Families are introduced to our leadership and room teams during enrolment and are always welcome to ask questions or seek help from the person best positioned to respond.
