For children with medical or behavioural needs, we co-create risk minimisation, communication, and behaviour support plans. We\u2019ve also sought family input during outdoor renovations and used feedback to shape how play spaces were designed. We understand that every family is different, and we\u2019re flexible in how we invite participation. Educators reflect regularly on how to include all voices, using a range of communication tools\u2014like informal chats, written notes, phone calls, and online messages\u2014to connect with families. We hold weekend events to suit working parents and adapt our approach to meet cultural, language, and accessibility needs. Families\u2019 strengths and community ties are also celebrated and used to enrich the service, whether it\u2019s through sharing skills, leading an activity, or offering cultural knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We actively support families to connect with one another and with the wider community. Events like park playdates and centre gatherings give parents a chance to meet, share experiences, and build support networks.
